The Oncoprot platform offers to combine laser microdissection and mass spectrometry to study the proteome of all types of oncological cellular or tissue structures
Microdissection makes it possible to isolate a particular population of cells or a cellular region of interest using laser cutting, from specimens fixed in formalin and embedded in paraffin.
The proteins are then extracted after reversal of the binding, and are analyzed by mass spectrometry to identify and quantify them. By proteomic profiling, we can use all the deregulated proteins as an identity card for a pathology, which makes it possible to define reference profiles with diagnostic, prognostic value or response to treatments.
Thanks to dedicated bioinformatics and integrative biology tools and the intervention of the bioinformatician of our team, we can be of support in the biological interpretation of proteomics data and in the graphical representation of your results.
